Our client is a global manufacturer of environmentally friendly and modern packaging solutions for drinks- and food industries, delivering top-quality primary packaging, on time and where needed. They have around 30 facilities and 9.000 employees worldwide. In the Netherlands they are located near Eindhoven with more then 500 employees. For this site we are searching for a Manager Quality.

Functieomschrijving

As Quality Manager, you will lead the Quality Department, to ensure that their products meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability You'll oversee a team of 35 Quality Professionals, reporting directly to the General Manager, with a dotted line to the Head of QC Division and Head of CTS Division. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the quality strategy, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and developing the quality strategy.
  
• Ensuring that products delivered to customers fulfill agreed and defined quality and sustainability requirements.
  
• Oversee quality innovation and improvement projects.
  
• Managing and certification of the local Quality integrated management system.
  
• Manage customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products and services that meet group QA expectations.
  

What will you do:

• A weekly check-in with your 4 direct reports (QC Manager, CTS Manager, QMS Engineer and QI Engineer), to coach and motivate them.
  
• You collect Quality data to present to HQ.
  
• Develop, implement, verify and validate food safety and QA processes and procedures used to monitor and update quality systems.
  
• You manage BRCGS deviations, immediately and on an ongoing basis. You will assist in the training and development of production staff in these areas.
  
• You coordinate the delivery and service of our products between operations and CTS.
  
• You conduct Gemba walks and engage with frontline employees.
  
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the Qualities departments success.
  
• You brainstorm about and initiate improvements to support all staff in achieving quality and safety objectives.
  
• You coordinate production site processes with Quality systems like ISO, BRC, and DPG.
  

Functie eisen

• Bachelor or Master degree in Quality or a related field;
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Manager in comparable industry.
  
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001, BRC standards, HACCP principles and health & safety regulations.
  
• You are passionate about Quality, you have the ability to inspire change and influence diverse stakeholders.
  
• You are a strong communicator, able to convey complex Quality concepts in an engaging, relatable way that resonates with all levels of the organization.
  
• You are a born leader, enthusiastic about creating a shared vision and capable of mentoring and developing Quality team members.
  
• You are a analytical thinking, you excel at assessing complex situations and are skilled in data-driven decision-making.
  
• Fluency in both Dutch and English.
