Our client is a international supplier of industrial en medical gases to various sectors, such as Gas industry, Steel industry, horticultural sector and hospitals (medical oxygen) and they deliver medical devices to homes. They employ about 340 people in the Netherlands, spread over locations in IJmuiden, Schiedam, de Botlek, Dieren and Eindhoven. For their NL sites in IJmuiden and partially Rotterdam Botlek we are searching for a SHEQ & Compliance Specialist.

Functieomschrijving

• Support the site managers and be the watchdog in all compliance issues regarding permits, SHEQ relevant standards and regulations like BRZO/Seveso and BEVB
  
• Build and maintain relationships with authorities, you will be a spokesperson towards authorities (e.g. DMCR)
  
• Update and support implementation of legal and statutory requirements & global standards, do risk assessments
  
• Support on new activity, new sites, new project for SHEQ topics, manage reporting on SHEQ KPI’s and drive or support on specific studies (noise, vibrations, ergonomics, ATEX…)
  
• Lead or support incident/accident investigation
  
• Harmonize & standardize process and procedures (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO2200, PED), prepare and perform SHEQ trainings, incl. specific toolboxes
  
• You will work 4 days at the IJmuiden site and 1 day at the Botlek site

Functie eisen

• You have a BSc/MSc (HBO / WO) degree in an engineering discipline
  
• HVK diploma or proven experience in this field is a must
  
• You bring broad experience with BRZO/Seveso and HSEQ; preferably also with BEVB
  
• You have knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO22000
  
• Proven track record in driving audits
  
• You have operational experience in technical organization (ideally gas experience), project management/self-organization skills
  
• Fluent Dutch and English language skills
